    THIS, THAT, & THE OTHER

So we're back, and attempting to get life back to some semblance of normalacy. Yesterday I did dishes, made dinner and washed towels. Checked the mail and watered the plants. All of which are very normal and boring, but it felt good. Real good.

All y'all can remind me of this feeling next week when I'm back to bitching about such things.

    In other news:
No. 1: New car = much higher registration costs. Wowza! Hopefully the auction money will help towards that.
No. 2: So I voted for the first time on Tuesday. Fat lot of good it did the country. Sigh.
No. 3: ZICAM rocks my freakin world. I felt like ca-ca on Monday night. Normally, feeling like that is a portent of me moving into the bedroom for at least 4 or 5 days with many mucus problems and numerous whiny requests for more chicken soup and cranberry juice. It's only 3 days later, and it's like I was never feeling crappy at all! Huzzah! I feel like running through the streets giving this stuff away to people. I highly recommend the cherry flavored quick-disolve tablets. And by quick, they mean 5-10 minutes. Whatever. Do yourself a favor and get some.
No. 4: It's only 85ºF so far today. IT'S NOVEMBER! What is wrong with this picture?!?!?!? Happily, the weather report shows a beautifully slow-moving cold front coming our way. Finally.

P.S.- Much apologies to those who had to experience the shitty attitude emanating from myself on Monday. It wasn't me, it was the cold, and lack of sleep. Really.
