    WELCOME TO FALL, GENTLEMEN

So it's officially fall. The ginormus tree out side our house is starting to change colors. Yea!

I probably won't be able to post the new theme on the first, what with all the shopping and all, so I thought I'd put it up today. In fact, I probably won't be posting much at all for the next 2 or 3 weeks, just so 'ya know. I decided to go all Gorey on your asses for the holiday. Enjoy.

In other news, Stacy and I had a great time last week checking out all the thrift stores in Castleberry. It was a good week for junk all around. I got this kick-ass paint by number and this slightly disturbing cutting board at thrift stores, and I picked these reindeer out of a box next to the dumpster by our house. Score! We also got some stuff for Halloween, including the stuff for the crystal ball, and the fabric for the moldering tablecloth for the food table. And the blue tablecloth for the fortune telling room. Not counting the crystal ball, I spent $5 total. Awesome. I love thrifting...

I've been sewing so much my fingers are sore. I got 4 done this weekend, with 8 more to go. I just have to make the frames and I should be set. I'm running out of thread, so a trip back to the fabric store is in order. They're turning out REALLY cool, and I hope SCAD bites. That would be choice.

I'm ready for guests, just a few little things here and there. So come on down!!

    Can't wait!

and i wouldn't be surprised if the cutco company had something to do with your cutting board! that thing is sweet!

i also gotta get on the small works stick. do they take commission on those sales? i haven't seen anything that says they do.

In my experience, SCAD ALWAYS takes commmission. The last thing I had shown was marked up 50%.
