    EVERY LITTLE BIT HELPS

So the folks over at Etsy have teamed up with Craft Revolution to start a store of donated items, the profits of which will go entirely to the Red Cross Hurricane Relief fund for victims of Hurricane Katrina. You can see it here.

Please go check it out. They've got something for everybody. There are pages and pages and pages of really cool handmade stuff, and the fact that it's all for a good cause makes it even better. I donated the 'Flower Dart' piece that I did last month. You can still purchase it out of my store, and the profits will go directly to Craft Revolution. You should buy something because you got to eat yesterday, you can flush your toilet and take a shower, you've got clothing, and you have a roof over your head not to mention the ultimate luxury of air conditioning.

Remember, every little bit helps. Do your part!

If you would like more (first hand) information, I highly recommend MetroBlog New Orleans and the Times-Picayune NOLA.com Breaking News Blog and their main site. Stay away from TV's talking heads (although Brian Williams on NBC news hasn't been too bad).
