History is in the air on this here internets.
Here is the story of good 'ole photoshop and some really cool screen caps of the start-up windows from back in the day. Takes me right back to High School. (via Kottke)
These are like the coolest blank cd's on the planet and I TOTALLY WANT THEM. (via MightyGoods)
And finally, my latest visual obsession: POP INK and CSA. Painfully, horrifiyingly expensive, but amazingly cool "full-bleed images that don't suck". Trav and I picked up two of the books (me= "happy kitty bunny pony", him= "goth-icky") which feature all kinds of wacked-out vintage images and toy photos, with the copy written by the guy who did Mystery Science Theater 3000.
"Ponies scare easily. If you open an umbrella near a pony, it is likely to startle and stomp you to death. Ponies are far less enchanting when you are beneath them, being crushed by their hooves."
Aaaannnnddddd:
"Look at those beautiful, liquid eyes, brimming with intelligence. That regal mane. That long, noble face, with its huge teeth set in a powerful jaw, capable of biting clean through human tissue,"
I think I'm in love.
