DESPERATE TIMES CALL FOR DESPERATE MEASURES...

I made a little purchase today. I'm so weak. If it takes more than 24 hours, I'm sooooo writing those bitches a very sternly worded letter.

Still not much else doing, comments are working, sort of. I'm trying to stay offline (I have been moving the computer to the dining room to remove the temptation) so that I can actually get something done with the portfolio. It's hard to be off the grid for more than 2 days, though...

I had to go to craphole today and I feel so filthy now. Why does that place have to be so disgusting? Why does it have to be so damn cheap? A tiny little piece of me dies each time I'm too poor to shop at my beloved Target and have to go slumming at craphole. Blech. I was behind a british couple today as I was checking out and my only thought was (other than 'Damn!, she's very brave to choose to wear that outfit with those shoes-and socks") was, "This is their American experience?". I really wanted to slip them the directions to Target as I was leaving, but I figured the damage had already been done. Cest la vie.
