    RECIPE FOR A SPLENDID EVENING

    ~1 tropical storm
    ~1 cold front
~1 December VOGUE or 1 novel you've read about 7 times
~1 weeks worth of DVR recordings (may be substituted with the foreign DVD you've had from Netfilx for the past 6 weeks)
~1 ginormous pot of chicken soup (with homemade egg noodles)
~1 pair striped cashmere knee-socks, that have a hole in them but still soft and comfy
~1 big effin' red fleece blanket
~someone to cuddle with, if needed (although if they've been home for the past two days, this certainly won't be needed)

Gather ingredients, mix and enjoy. Garnish with numerous squares of dark chocolate and possibly one pot of loose leaf tea that you really can't afford to buy, but do anyway.

    Serves 1 happily, maybe 2.

Making this recipe may make you a giant un-sociable dork, but you'll be a warm and comfy giant un-sociable dork.

No, man. My super human strength just snapped the little bugger right in half on the eye part as I was attempting a stitch.

I've just gotta find me some 'Mel' rated needles that don't ever get lost or that won't break if I look at them wrong.
