Oh, my God. It was SO COOL. Did I mention it was awesome? Finally, we know where all the cool people are. (They're at the Enzian watching PW on the big screen.) The theater even raffled off a free breakfast for 2 in honor of the opening scene. How cool is that?
There was applause during the opening titles and a general aww when Phil Hartman came on at the end. People were belly laughing at all the right spots, I could hear someone quoting Large Marge's monologue, and everyone even clapped along with 'deep in the heart of Tex-as'.
So awesome. Ahhh. My girlhood buddies (and my sister) will be glad to hear that I can still do Tina's voice and I even remembered some of her beginning monologue.
"Can you say A-D-O-B-E?"
The only thing that would have made it better was if all of you could have been there, too. (sigh)
Next month: Blazing Saddles. Then: Stand By Me in January. All for only $5 each. I love this town!

And you are very perceptive.
That WAS the same lady who played Miss Yvonne doing the Mother Superior bit on PWBA!
Sweet! I knew she looked familiar, but c'mon she's wearing a full habit, and I didn't get a very good look.
