MEL-MEL HUNGRY. AND A LITTLE SLEEPY.

Yes, I know that Halloween isn't over yet, but I was in the mood for a change. See, the problem is that I do these layouts way in advance, and then they just sit there. Waiting. And it kills me, 'cause why did I design them? Just to sit there? No, I designed them to be out there in all their glory.

So I'm jumping the gun a little. Whatever.

Anyway, between all the painting and the sewing, and the cleaning and planning, and etcetera, etcetera...not much else has been going on. I'm tired because I haven't been sleeping, and as B would probably tell you, a wee bit grouchy. Movies haven't been watched, dishes haven't been done, mail hasn't been checked. And because I'm weak we've eaten out twice in the past week. Evil!

When I get lazy like this I usually fall back on the old favorites for food. So this week, it's tout français, toute l'heure! Fresh Herb Omelettes, Roast Beef Sandwiches with Au Jus, French Onion Soup (with REAL gryuere cheese), Potatoes Au Gratin with Goat Cheese & Herbs de Provence and even Tuna Nicoise with the last of the great tomatoes of the season. Little mixed green salads with big plump olives and a basalmic vinaigrette with sea salt and cracked black pepper.

Apperently B feels the same way, because when I told him that Onion Soup was for dinner last night, he replied, "Oh, NO you din girl'frein!"

I'm lazy and tired and I just want what I want. What I want is a GIANT helping of goat cheese and some crusty bread. With butter. Lots of butter.

When I get to Columbia, Je pèserai une tonne.

    En effet.
