Whoo-wheee! It's only 61° outside and it's 12:30 in the afternoon! I LOVE IT!!!!
Windows are open, the tea kettle is simmmering. I'm putting on socks.
This is working out freakin' fantastic! It's gonna be chilly until Thursday morining, when we plan on blowing this popsicle stand to head north for MORE COLD WEATHER!! YEA! And it's supposed to be cool in South Carolina, too! YEA! Real fall weather.
As you can tell, I am quite excited. And so are all the sweaters and socks that I put into storage when we decided to move even closer to the damn equator.
YEA! WIND CHILL!
ETA: Be careful what you wish for. The power went out just after I finished typing this post (and the sidebars) and it just came back on. Oh, well. At least now I sorta feel like ironing. Sorta. And I can have a hot lunch. Mmmm. Roast chicken.
