I can never keep new year's resolutions. For like the last 10 years, "actually learn French" has been in top three. I still ne peut pas parler francais. (I don't know how'd I'd get by without the Google language tool.) As has travel more, and get some actual exercise.
So, on an old tip from good ole' digs, this year I'm patting myself on the back for keeping all the resolutions I never knew I made this time last year.
Such as:
1. move to new state
2. finally finish portfolio
3. write resume and get that bugger out there
4. start new hobby and open online store to share it with the world
5. get pieces accepted to a gallery, maybe even sell a few
6. learn CSS
7. perfect french onion soup recipe
8. spend more time outside in the sunshine and fresh air
9. keep in touch with the family (real and gathered) more
10. actually venture inside the gym, instead of just peeking in the windows
Okay, so maybe 2005 wasn't so bad after all...
